Eastern Europe Christmas Market Tour

Welcome to Vienna! After meeting up at the airport we'll head to the hotel together to check in before strolling the beautiful Viennese Christmas Markets. Immerse yourself in the twinkling lights, enjoy the scent of mulled wine and roasted chestnuts, and browse the unique holiday gifts. After an evening of exploration, we'll head back to the hotel to rest up for the adventures ahead!

Spend the day exploring the iconic sights of Vienna at your own pace - from the majestic Hofburg Palace to the grand St. Stephen’s Cathedral. Enjoy the city’s rich history and vibrant culture before we head into a truly magical evening. In the late afternoon, we’ll board the Adventzug Christmas Train, an old-fashioned, Polar Express-style journey that will take us up into the mountains to the highest Christmas market in Austria. Amidst the twinkling lights and snowy peaks, you’ll sip warm drinks & shop for festive treasures in this unique alpine setting.

After checking out of your hotel in Vienna, we’ll make our way to Bratislava, the charming capital of Slovakia via the Danube. Once we arrive, we'll drop our bags off at the hotel and head out to explore the city’s festive Christmas Markets. Wander through the medieval streets, enjoy seasonal treats like trdelník and hot cider, and browse handmade crafts as the city’s holiday spirit fills the air.

After breakfast, we’ll journey from Bratislava to Budapest by train, arriving in Hungary’s stunning capital. Check into your hotel and spend the day exploring the city's famous Christmas Markets. Wander through the festive stalls at Vörösmarty Square, try traditional Hungarian treats, and soak in the breathtaking sights of Budapest, where old-world charm and holiday cheer blend perfectly.

We'll start the day with a relaxing visit to one of Budapest’s famous thermal baths, where you can unwind in the rejuvenating waters surrounded by beautiful historic architecture. Afterward, spend the rest of the day exploring Budapest’s iconic sights, like the Parliament Building and Buda Castle, before diving into the festive atmosphere of the city’s Christmas Markets. Browse the stalls for unique gifts, enjoy holiday treats, and take in the sparkling lights of this magical city.

After breakfast, we’ll fly to Gdansk, Poland home to the #1 Christmas Market in Europe.

Known for its enchanting atmosphere, this coastal city boasts of its award-winning market offering an array of seasonal treats, handcrafted gifts, and festive performances, all set against the stunning backdrop of Gdansk’s Old Town.

Once we are settled into our hotel we'll explore the markets!

On our final day in Gdansk you'll choose between 3 experiences:

- A guided tour of the Stutthof Concentration Camp, a deeply moving visit that reflects on Poland’s WWII history.

-Or, opt for a guided bike tour of Gdansk, where you’ll explore the city’s charming streets.

-Or enjoy a Pierogi cooking class where you will spend time learning the art of this delicious dish

Afterward, enjoy some free time to visit the Christmas Market for unique Polish crafts & festive treats.

Time to head back home!
